Over the course of two decades, Woodrow Wilson’s original Leadership Program for Teachers provided more than 2,400 secondary school teachers with cutting-edge professional development, led by noted scholars and experts, through month-long summer institutes in a residential setting near Princeton, New Jersey.
Since 2004, Woodrow Wilson has worked to develop a regional model of LPT through a partnership with the Cleveland Municipal School District, the Cleveland Foundation, and several Ohio colleges. The goal, as in the original LPT institutes, is to give teachers new pedagogical and curricular tools to stimulate higher levels of student achievement. more…
